ENVIRONMENTAL CONFLICTS & THE PUBLIC DEBATE ON DEVELOPMENT IN ARGENTINA & LATIN AMERICA – 6pm, THURSDAY 20TH JULY

Together with the Argentina Research Network and the Institute of Latin American Studies, we are organising this talk by Gabriela Merlinsky, Researcher at the Gino Germani Research Institute, University of Buenos Aires and Research Associate of the CONICET. Merlinsky will address the intersections between environmental conflicts, resistance and debates on development in Argentina and Latin America, drawing from over ten years of research in the field and presenting a number of key cases in the region.
