Dan Ozarow on C5N

More media coverage for ASC, this time on major TV station C5N. In this video our very own Dan Ozarow describes how civil society in the UK has responded to the forced disappearance and now murder of Santiago Maldonado. “What happened to Santiago has shone a light on the other human rights violations being committed by the Argentinian state in the British and European media. The repression of the Mapuche people, political prisoners like Milagro Sala, the repression of protesters in the Plaza de Mayo, workers protests being crushed. Together with the condemnation of the United Nations, Amnesty International and the Inter-American Human Rights Commission and the insults from government ministers against Santiago and his family, this has left the Argentinian government being viewed very negatively across the world.”
