In the final and the biggest event of their tour, Nora and Beverly spoke in front of an audience of 250 people in Senate House’s biggest hall. It was an incredibly moving and inspiring night, with stories of loss, resistance, struggle and commitment.
Both Nora and Beverly were particularly touched by all the support they received and the continued efforts to show solidarity with the social struggles in Argentina.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who put time and effort into making this event a success, including the Institute for Latin American Studies, the Human Rights Consortium and the School of Advanced Studies. Also many thanks to ASC members Paula and Martina for interpreting, and Dan for chairing.
