When Nora Met Jeremy

On 1 November, Nora Cortiñas (Co-Founder of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo), Beverly Keene (Diálogo 2000) and Dan Ozarow from ASC were invited to meet Jeremy Corbyn in Parliament. They were joined by Emily Thornberry, (Shadow Foreign Secretary) and Laura Álverez.

They discussed the history of the Mothers, the declining economic and human rights situation in Argentina and the forced disappearance and death of Santiago Maldonado. Corbyn expressed his “concern” and will be looking into his case.
